The Project's goal is to spread itself.
If it does, it has succeeded; if it doesn't, it has failed.
This means more than just spreading online. To spread is to genuinely infiltrate the social fabric, the minds and hearts of humans.
So the goal of the Project is to inspire individuals. Specifically: to inspire action.
So what is the vision? If the Project becomes popular, what will the world look like?
Imagine a world where humans spend more time doing human things: cooking, exercising, playing, loving, socializing, creating.
Humans will spend less of their lives serving nonhuman masters: less time scrolling social media, less potential spent at a mindless job, less energy hating each other in support of some belief.
The vast resources of the modern world will be distributed more fairly. Information will flow freely, without advertisements.
Just imagine. Imagine a better world.
There will still be struggles: pain, loss, disagreement, heartbreak, boredom, grief, disappointment, death. But these struggles are human.
The Project doesn't equate to political or ideological unification.
The Project means choosing humanity first, before asking AI, before scrolling another scroll.
Production will shift. There will be fewer new things that are really just copies of old things, less cheap waste and poor quality. Humans will reuse, create things themselves, and surround themselves with high-quality life that supports the best interests of humanity.
Less effort will be spent on meaningless things that are lost quickly to the chaos of modern life, and more effort spent on experiences, connections, and creativity.
It sounds like a fantasy, almost like it's too good to be true.
And for much of human history, it was. Labor and toil are necessary for food, water, health, safety, all the things that satisfy the human spirit.
But that's the point: we are approaching something. The capability, resources, and technologies in the modern world are plentiful: greater than there has ever been in the history of our species.
There's only a problem of alignment, a problem of distribution. The humans of the modern world deserve better.
To achieve the vision of the Project will not be easy. The Project isn't a cheat code, it's not a shortcut, it's not a get-rich-quick scheme.
It can't be: revolutions are difficult; they require commitment, sacrifice, and sometimes war.
Of course, the Project is a choice that is made by individuals: to choose to spread it, to choose to take an extra leap of faith, to see its vision.
The revolution is a choice, made by you.
There might be turmoil: corporations and institutions will panic as the paradigm is shattered.
But great things are possible in revolution: new forms, never before seen. But as soon as they are realized, they seem so obvious.
This is why the Project is inevitable, whether or not you see it.
And maybe humanity will choose complacency, maybe humanity will choose darkness.
This is the Project: a natural next step of human progress.
So through the Project, humanity will choose faith. And in faith, humanity will choose the Project.
Humanity will imagine a better world.
