I'm Struggling in the Modern World

Back to Resources

There is no shame in struggle.

The modern world has failed its humans in many ways.

It's hard to know what to do to achieve a good life, or what a good life even is.

Many of us are overwhelmed, stressed, confused, and anxious.

It may be tempting to blame institutions or politicians, or the ignorance of others.

In some cases, this blame may be accurate, but the solution isn't blame: the solution is action.

No matter where you find yourself, there is only one way out. You must keep moving forward.

The modern world is plentiful: there are so many resources, so much efficiency and production. So many things.

Why is there so much in the world, but still, so many struggle?

It is a problem of alignment: so many of the things in the modern world are not human. These things do not support your interests, your humanity.

This is the problem the Project addresses.

But it starts with you: to heal is possible.

Have a better day tomorrow than you did today.

Begin to fight your addiction to your phone and social media. Connect with somebody, anybody, face-to-face. Make a plan.

Move. Fight for your soul. Reclaim your humanity.

There are so many different struggles, especially in the modern world, but they all have the same fundamental solution: action.

It is difficult, especially if some things are comfortable, but you must detach yourself from that which holds you: let yourself be free. Do not be frozen in decision.

Exercise your will and your ability, right now. Do something, anything to heal, even if it is the tiniest thing.

There is no shame in humility: accept that there are unknowable things, imperfections, mysteries of the world.

Soon, your world will begin to change.

The modern world has failed its humans.

But humans created the modern world, and humans will create a better world.

The time is now.

The Project is here.
